Friday's Lip Of The Day
A sunny morning prompted me to reach for an equally summery shade of lipstick today - step up, Clinique Chubby Stick Intense, in the shade Heftiest Hibiscus. This is a gorgeous, vibrant coral red, perfect for this time of year.

Burberry AW15 - Effortless, Sultry Glam
Burberry has really gone and done it this year. Their makeup look for their Autumn Winter 15 show was absolutely stunning, and I have been obsessing over it ever since I saw it. A sultry smoky eye, with natural brows and warmed up, glowy skin, this look is equal parts sexy, sultry and smudgy glamour, and is also infinitely wearable.

Seasonal Skin Care - Your Skin Needs You!
First off - I must apologise for my horrendously long absence! Just when I was finding my feet with this whole blogging thing, I had one helluva busy summer (not in a good way!) and just couldn't find the time or inspiration. BUT - I have just turned 25 (oh my GOOOODDD where did that come from, surely I am still 17, no?!) and I am most definitely back with avengeance. So, sorry to keep you waiting - I hope you enjoy!
Recently, my summer long, fail proof skin care routine had been letting me down big time - I was suddenly getting super oily after only a couple of hours wearing my trusty Stay Matte BB cream, or Maybelline Eraser concealer, and I was having break outs all over the shop. Not a pretty sight! And for the life of me, I just couldn't understand why...

It's a Cream Eye Shadow Showdown - Clinique vs Barbara Daly
I will start by saying that lunchbreaks are deadly and I should not be allowed to take one. Because things like this happen...I decided to go into Boots to get a meal deal and came out with a Clinique Chubby Stick for eyes. Whoops. THEN I went to Tesco and three Barbara Daly eyeshadows caught my eye – they look like a similar idea to the Chubby Sticks except, well as you can see, they are skinny sticks! SO, of course, I had to buy them and test them out! At only £3 per eyeshadow, compared to £17 for one Chubby Stick, how could I refuse?
